Joe Bakalars is from Verona, a suburb of Madison, Wisconsin. He is in his second year at UWM, where he is pursuing a major in Film. Joe intends to work in film or television after he graduates, where he plans to write and/or direct.

Outside of school, Joe enjoys following sports (especially the Packers and Brewers) and watching movies and tv shows. He is always up for sports and athletic activities such as tennis, ice skating, and baseball. He regularly makes short films with his friends.
