Application of basic principles of Spanish in a business, organizational, educational, political, or other appropriate setting.

Course Rules: One cr earned for academic work based on 40 hours in internship. May be retaken to 3 cr max.

SPANISH 296 UROP Apprenticeship
3 cr. Undergraduate.
Undergraduate research participation in a project developed with a supervising member of the faculty or staff.
Prerequisites: acceptance into UROP; prior or conc reg in UROP seminar.
Course Rules: One credit for 45 hrs research. May be retaken to 9 cr max in any combination of UROP apprenticeship courses. Not open to jrs & srs.

SPANISH 319 Advanced Speaking and Listening for Heritage Speakers

Development of full proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking skills in Spanish for students with native/near-native command of these skills.
