Teaching Assistantships
Qualified graduate students admitted into the Spanish program may apply for a departmental Teaching Assistantship in Spanish or Portuguese (Word). The deadline for submission is February 1st for the following academic year. Applications will be accepted after that date, on a rolling basis, until positions have been assigned. Recipients teach between one and two courses per semester and receive a stipend plus full tuition remission. Summer Teaching Assistantships are available on a limited basis and are not guaranteed.
Fellowships and Travel Awards
In addition to Graduate Teaching Assistantships offered in our program, the Graduate School offers other types of funding for graduate students, including fellowships and travel awards.
