Spain: Madrid – Spanish Language & Culture
Madrid, Spain’s capital city, is the site for this enriching UWM summer program. Students may earn up to 7 undergraduate credits on the program – 4 credits in Spanish language and 3 credits in Spanish culture and civilization. The Spanish language classes, taught at all ability levels, are taken at the Don Quijote Language School. The culture and civilization course is taught in either English or Spanish and will examine Spain’s current social, political, and cultural reality. Historical facts will be explored and connected to the Spain of today through direct contact with people and visits to museums and institutions of social and cultural significance.
