Physics Department Response to COVID-19

The Physics Department recognizes that the ongoing Coronavirus situation has caused major disruptions to students, staff, faculty, and members of the public with an interest in physics. As with all statements related to the pandemic, the most up-to-date University-wide news is available via the official UWM web page.

While access to the Kenwood IRC and the Physics building is currently restricted to essential personnel, the main Physics department office will still respond to phone calls and e-mail. The department manager, Stephen Kennedy, is available via the main office line at 414-229-4474, and via the e-mail listed on the Contact Page. If you have questions regarding access to the KIRC or the Physics building, please reach out to him. As a reminder, non-essential access is limited and intended for picking up items from offices, not extended access for completion of non-essential tasks.

As all classes are transitioning to online instruction for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester, students should reach out to their instructors via e-mail or Canvas if they have any questions.
