I am a first-generation minority undergraduate researcher working in the Rohatgi Lab on the third floor of EMS, where I currently work with aluminum-cerium alloys as I attempt to vary composition to get a consequent change in microstructure and mechanical properties. I want to get into Tissue engineering of biomaterials to design and innovate novel solutions to significant healthcare problems involving the replacement of necrotic tissues in the body. I look forward to conducting cancer research at MCW and publishing a paper.
