How can communities come together and collaborate to make change and build a better world together?  Explore visions of community engagement, strategies for community development, and approaches for community dialogue.  In this class we will examine a range of theories of popular education and empowerment, learning about key practitioners and talking together about a wide range of different examples of community engagement.  We will learn about the history of community development, experiment with approaches to community dialogue, question current approaches to community oragnization and more.  If you want to learn how to bring your community together to make change, this is a course for you.
