Melissa Mueller, DNP, RN, ACCNS-P

Melissa has been teaching in the School of Nursing since 2019. She is a certified Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist (ACCNS-P)  and teaches pediatrics courses in the UG-BSN and MN nursing programs at UWM.  For her DNP project she developed, implemented, and evaluated an evidence-based educational program to enhance pediatric nursing staff's confidence and competence in verbally de-escalating pediatric patients with psychiatric and behavioral health concerns.
