Across southeastern Wisconsin, UWM’s College of Nursing is valued for its ability to prepare nursing students to be science-based, compassionate nurse leaders and peacebuilders through innovative, quality educational programs.

Preparing entry-level nursing professionals is only the beginning of our commitment to meeting the needs of diverse, in-demand nursing professions. From pediatrics to geriatrics, community clinics to pharmaceutical labs, our faculty conduct research and scholarship that advances science to create healthier communities. However, they don’t do this alone. The college recruits students from first-year to online PhD candidates, nursing administrators to clinical nurse specialists, for research and clinical practice opportunities that prepare graduates at every practice level to transform health care delivery and policy.
