UWM Alumni House sold to Andy Nunemaker for renovation as private residence
The UW System Board of Regents on behalf of UW-Milwaukee has sold a former private residence, recently known as the UWM Alumni House, to a Milwaukee businessman, Andy Nunemaker, for $1.8 million.
UWM loses a devoted and beloved dean
Over and over in his long UWM career, Ron Perez was asked to accomplish necessary tasks that weren’t always glamorous, yet he dove in with enthusiasm, relished his colleagues and never said no. Perez, dean of the Zilber School of Public Health, passed away on Dec. 16 after several months of illness. He was 59.
