Housing Contracts
August 7, 2026: All students with completed contracts have been assigned. Please check your email and view your assignment via My Housing Information! Spring 2027 Contracts will start to be released in early November.

May 1, 2026: University Housing is no longer accepting Residence Hall Contracts for the 2026-27 academic year. Students without a submitted contract or exemption have been automatically exempted from the UWM Residency Requirement and may explore other housing options through the Off-Campus Resource Center.

University Housing remains full for Fall 2026, and we have not yet begun offering contracts to students on the residence hall waitlist. If you are still interested in living on campus, please join the waitlist through the Housing Portal. Contracts will be offered if spaces become available.

Community kitchens are available for residents to use in Cambridge Commons, RiverView Residence Hall, and Sandburg Hall. They include full-size refrigerators, stoves, ovens, and sinks.

Cambridge Commons kitchen/lounges are located in the center of each floor. RiverView kitchens are located on the end of each wing, with an additional large kitchen on the 2nd floor. The Sandburg* kitchens are located on the third floor of South, North, and West Towers, and were renovated in 2019, 2020, and 2023 as part of the Sandburg Renovation Project.

*Use of the Sandburg kitchens requires a key-in access request at the lobby Service Desk.

When utilizing any of our community kitchens, a resident is responsible for turning off the oven, stove, and sink, along with cleaning the space.

Cooking utensils can be checked out by residents at all residence hall Service Desks by presenting a Panther ID. All items checked out must be washed and returned to the Service Desk. If using personal cooking equipment, items may not be stored in the kitchens. Students that do not properly clean kitchen spaces after use will be assessed a cleaning fee.
