Housing and dining rates are determined each summer for the following fall. Current year rates are provided to help you estimate these costs for your individual situation. Your specific cost will depend on your room assignment and dining plan choice.

Housing and dining plan charges are divided into two approx. even amounts and posted to your PAWS account semesterly, once in July and again in January. First semester charges are due in late August. Please contact Student Financial Services with questions regarding payments.

Kenilworth Apartments

Rates Include: All utilities and high-speed internet. Apartments on floors 6 and 7 also include in-unit laundry. Residents are billed only for their portion of the apartment cost unless they have bought out the entire apartment.

Residential Dining

UWM offers 2 different Residential Dining Plans to residents in University Housing, plus a Supplemental Plan that can be chosen if living in specific locations (Cambridge Commons’ upgraded suites, RiverView Hall, or Sandburg Hall’s East Tower). Plans offer enhanced services that enable UWM student residents to access any Residential Dining Hall during all operating hours and eat all they care to eat.

In addition, each plan offers residents Guest Passes for visitors to use in the Residential Cafés, and Dining Dollar options at additional on-campus locations, giving them an opportunity to taste Milwaukee with nearly 20 vendors in the neighboring areas who accept Dining Dollars for dine-in service or meal delivery.

Dining Plan Requirement

All University Housing residents are required to participate in a Dining Plan unless they reside in Kenilworth Square Apartments where Dining Plans are currently unavailable.

Parking

Each building in University Housing has a parking garage and requires its own specific permit. Permits are distributed and maintained by UWM Transportation Services. Once you receive your room assignment please visit UWM Transportation Services to review current rates and to request a permit.
