Rajpreet Grewal is a Water Policy Specialist and Sea Grant UW Water Science-Policy Fellow at the Center for Water Policy. She holds a Master of Science in Water Resources Management from the Nelson Institute and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During her dual degree graduate studies, she participated in research regarding flooding in Wisconsin’s Driftless area, focusing on ways to improve flood resiliency.

She worked as a graduate project assistant on Native Nations and Brothertown Nelson Wild Rice Revitalization. During law school, she was a member of the Wisconsin International Law Journal and the Environmental Law Society. She has environmental law experience through externships and clerkships with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Midwest Environmental Advocates, and Clean Wisconsin.

At the Center for Water Policy, Rajpreet manages the UW System Water Policy Network  and supports the research teams. She also conducts original water law and policy research.

In her free time, Rajpreet enjoys reading, spending time with her dogs, being outdoors, and exploring Milwaukee.
