Freshwater Colloquium: Student Lightning Talks (3MT)

May 6 @ 3:00 pm - 3:50 pm

Students of the Colloquium in Freshwater Sciences will present Lightning Talks (3-minute thesis style) as part of the School of Freshwater Sciences spring colloquium.

For the final colloquium of Spring 2024, students from the course will be presenting on their very own research topics of choice. Each student will deliver a short presentation, capped at 3 minutes in length and prizes will be awarded to the best talks as judged by the audience and the faculty hosts of the colloquium.

Please come to show support and engage with our students and help determine the winners. As always, come to the GLRF Ballroom a few minutes before the start of the seminar and grab a snack to enjoy during the event.

This presentation is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and the public.

The Colloquium series creates a platform where students, faculty, and scientists discuss emergent issues related to freshwater science research. Invited speakers present specific topics of their research, as well as policy, commercial, and industrial experiences.
