Lake Sturgeon Bowl 2024

The School of Freshwater Sciences will host the 23rd Lake Sturgeon Bowl on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at our Great Lakes Research Facility.
The annual Lake Sturgeon Bowl is a regional competition of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl. This double elimination academic tournament is geared toward motivated, hardworking high school students (grades 9-12) who seek a challenge in science and mathematics. Each team of five students will be tested on their understanding of the oceans and Great Lakes.
