Geoscience Exchange

Event series which brings together UWM alumni, professionals, faculty/staff and students in an exchange of ideas, perspectives and knowledge of geoscience-related topics.
Geoscience Exchange presentation series is an opportunity for students to interact with professionals as we blend a student presentation with a professional presentation about a geoscience-related theme. The planned series for the ‘23/’24 academic calendar year currently includes joint student/professional presentations on the ‘first Tuesday’ evening of December, February and April. This first event on Dec 5th featured two student presentations and one post-doctoral candidate with a ‘sedimentary geology theme’, while the spring semester events are intended to feature ‘hydrogeology’ (on Feb 6th) and ‘hard rock geology’ (on April 2nd) presentations.
