It is great to see the fountain in operation again as we get closer to more campus operations opening and students returning to campus. Thanks to Facility Services staff for bringing the fountain back to operation and for planting and maintaining the beautiful flowers! You got this running just in time for campus tours that have also returned this week.
Just a reminder that beginning Monday, July 13 payment for on campus parking will return. Rates for summer and fall will be discounted. In addition, options for daily parking will be available. Please see the Transportation Services website for specific information and procedures for purchasing permits: https://uwm.edu/transportation/enforcement-resumes-monday-july-13th/
If you are working on-site, please remember to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms before coming to work. If you experience symptoms, receive a COVID-19 diagnosis, or have been in close contact with a person that is COVID-19 positive, please notify your supervisor that you are not able to come to campus. Since the On-site Employee Work Practices guidance was initially written in April, please watch for revisions to be issued soon, including updated symptoms and the required use of face coverings. Supervisors can also direct COVID-19 safety questions to University Safety and Assurances at COVID19-Safety@uwm.edu.
Thank you to all FPM staff for your ongoing dedication and great work during these unique circumstances. I continue to be impressed by your ideas, responsiveness, willingness to creatively address new challenges, and your teamwork.
