Posoh (“hello” in the Menominee language) from Angel Schwechler, a member of the Menominee Nation. Angel is studying art education at UW-Milwaukee’s – Peck School of the Arts and cannot wait to start her career as an art educator! Pictures can speak louder than words, and Angel is very passionate about art as a means of communication and as a vehicle of social change. It is a goal of Angel to guide students in creating art that has a strong influence on themselves as well as society. She is passionate about traditional craft and indigenous pedagogy, as well as providing an excellent learning environment for indigenous students.
