The Mathematics Teacher Leadership program offers the opportunity to earn a master’s degree, graduate certificate, or both!

The online cohort program is the same price for students who reside in-state or out-of-state.

This Program Is Designed For

Designed to Meet the Needs of Classroom Teachers

  • Online synchronous class sessions, with in-person opportunities.
  • Classes meet one night per week (Wednesday nights) during the school year plus some Saturday mornings.
  • Summer courses offered as intensive learning experiences.

Program Features

  • Cohort model: Learn together with colleagues throughout the program.
  • Focus: PreK-8 mathematics teaching, learning, and leading.
  • Two years to degree: Cohesive course sequence linking research to practice.
  • Format: Online synchronous courses, with in-person opportunities.
  • Schedule: Wednesday nights during the school year and some Saturday mornings. Summer course schedules vary.
  • Capstone project: Implement an action research project in your school.
  • Leadership Opportunities: State and national professional organizations.
  • Nationally recognized faculty: Learn with leaders in the field.

Program Requirements

  • Programs can be stacked by applying credits to multiple programs.
  • Graduate certificate requires 15 credits.
  • Master’s degree requires 30 credits.
  • Most courses can be used on the pathway to a Doctoral Degree.
