Adriana Pacheco is founder and producer of Hablemos Escritoras podcast and encyclopedia and the online bookstore Shop Escritoras Books. She holds a PhD in Iberian and Latin American Literatures and Cultures; Luso-Brazilian Cultural and Media Studies and is Affiliate Research Fellow at the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies. She was member and former Chair of the International Board of Advisors at University of Texas Austin and she sits on the Texas Book Festival Advisory Board.  A Texas Book Festival Feature Author (2012), she has several publications in international magazines such as Letras Libres, Literal Magazine, Viceversa, among others. She has edited several critical books and documentaries to promote literacy and the work of women writers. She was born in Puebla, Mexico and is a naturalized American Citizen.
