Joining a club or student organization is a great way to meet friends, explore your interests, gain work and volunteer experience, and develop your teamwork (and leadership!) skills. If you have a specific business interest or just want to be part of a fun group, check out what the Lubar College and UWM have to offer you.

AISEC

AIESEC provides members with leadership opportunities and participation in a global learning environment. Activities include an exchange program that enables students to participate in international internships, cultural and professional networking events, regional, national, and global conferences.

American Marketing Association (AMA)

The Lubar College’s chapter of the AMA promotes the field of marketing through various activities, including networking opportunities, professional development, speakers, seminars, charity and volunteer activities, fundraising, member social events and outings, and regional and national conferences.

Beta Alpha Psi, Eta Theta Chapter

Beta Alpha Psi encourages and recognizes scholastic and professional excellence in the field of accounting, providing accounting students with opportunities for self-development and networking among members and practicing financials professionals.

Beta Gamma Sigma, Delta Chapter (BGS)

Beta Gamma Sigma is the honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is by invitation only and is the highest scholarly recognition a business student can receive.

Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO)

CEO informs, supports and inspires students to become entrepreneurs, providing access to successful entrepreneurs of all industries who provide real life examples on how to start and operate a business. Students also have an opportunity to attend the annual CEO National Conference (host city varies each year) and participate in an annual Elevator Pitch Competition and Student Entrepreneur of the Year Competition.

Delta Sigma Pi (DSPi)

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional co-ed fraternity providing students with professional development along with networking and leadership opportunities, including professional speakers, business tours, community service events, regional leadership conferences, social events and an annual Business Symposium.

Future Healthcare Executives (FHE)

Future Healthcare Executives is affiliated with the American College of Healthcare Executives, and sponsors monthly meetings with speakers from the profession, volunteer events, networking opportunities, shadowing opportunities and social events.

Supply Chain Management Association

SCMA encourages professional development while increasing exposure to Supply Chain & Operations Management and Information Technology professionals in the Greater Milwaukee area. SCMA provides guest speakers, industry visits, volunteerism, professional development, career fair preparation, networking events, and many other activities.

Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)

SHRM promotes unlimited education, advances professional growth, develops leadership skills, and provides networking opportunities with Human Resources Professionals in order to achieve a better understanding of Human Resources as a career.

Student Investment Club (SIC)

The Lubar College’s Student Investment Club provides each member with a broad understanding of the financial markets through frequent meetings and interactions with investment practitioners. It also provides opportunities for members to gain valuable experience through actual investment management activities in real-time and web-based mock investment contests.

Women in Business (WIB)

Women in Business is a community for career- and academically-driven women that provides resources and opportunities for members, and empowers women in the business community. Activities include networking and career development events, professional speaker events, community outreach and volunteer activities, social events for members, and annual fundraising.
