Through the generosity of alumni, faculty, and friends, the UWM Lubar College of Business awards over $1.5 million dollars in scholarships each year.

To be considered for a scholarship, students must be admitted to or currently enrolled in an academic program within the Lubar College of Business. Scholarships are available for students at both the undergraduate and graduate level with different applications available for the various programs offered through the Lubar College of Business.

All applications to be considered for scholarships through the Lubar College of Business will be completed through the Panther Scholarship Portal at uwm.academicworks.com. It is recommended that all students first complete a General Application on the Panther Scholarship Portal to be considered for other University-wide scholarship opportunities. Some Lubar scholarships also consider students’ general applications for items such as demonstrated leadership and community service.

Please note: Some (but not all) scholarships through the Lubar College of Business are offered based on financial need. To be considered for need-based scholarships, you must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file for the 2023-2024 academic year. Students who are not eligible to complete a FAFSA may contact scholarship coordinator, Liz Baumgarten, for information on completing the Non-FAFSA Need-Based Worksheet.

Without the scholarship… I would have never known what it was like to be a UWM Panther. Proud of my university and in love with the city of Milwaukee. I would have never had the chance to find a marketing internship, and be on the road to accomplishing my goals.
