UWM’s accounting and taxation scholarships are administered through the J. Arthur Leer Accounting Fund of the UWM Foundation. The fund was established in 1983 to honor Emeritus Professor J. Arthur Leer, a leading figure in developing the accounting and taxation programs at the University.

Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in an Accounting program through the Lubar College of Business

How to apply: Accounting students will complete one application through the Panther Scholarship Portal (the Lubar College of Business Accounting application) to be considered for all Accounting awards. The application opens January 22nd and closes April 30th. Members of the accounting faculty will review applications and select recipients who will be awarded in mid-late June.
