UWM’s 11th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium was held on Friday, April 5, 2019. Three of our undergraduate students, Alex Moxon, Anna Kaminski, and Giorgio Sarro, presented their research – Alex and Giorgio as juniors, Anna as a sophomore – during the symposium. We used Facebook Live to give them the opportunity to share their research with the world, and we invite you to check out their presentations using the links below!
Alex Moxon: Modeling the Ideal Paths of Storm Chasers during Tornadoes
Anna Kaminski: A Climatology of Atmospheric Rivers in the Northeastern United States
Giorgio Sarro: An Investigation of Intensity, Structural, & Timing Extremes for Extratropical Transition
Abstracts for their and all presentations during this year’s symposium are available from the Office of Undergraduate Research. UWM Atmospheric Science students who are interested in becoming involved with undergraduate research are encouraged to reach out to any of the faculty to inquire about available student opportunities!
