Continuum 2026 brings together two compelling exhibitions—one honoring the enduring influence of landscape through Kevin Giese’s work, and the other reflecting on the lasting impact of mentorship and cultural exchange through a historic UWM study abroad experience.
Curated by advanced undergraduate and graduate students, this exhibition brings together traditional and experimental photographic techniques alongside images that investigate the nuanced use of light within the studio environment.

Sing Out brings together 750+ 9th-12th grade and 350+ 7th-8th grade tenor-bass singers from over 60 schools from around Wisconsin and Illinois. No advance preparation is required; students learn pieces at the festival and conclude the morning with the high school and middle school choirs singing for one another and together. Additional activities include performances by the UWM Tenor-Bass Choir and interest and reading sessions for directors.
UW-Milwaukee alumni, stone sculptor/painter SHADDSTONE©️ collaborates with alumni master percussionist Martin Shadd and friends, to present an experience of abstract/impressionism as music. The musical journey will be performed on unique and traditional instruments to create a series of “sound-escapes."
