Theatre Production, BFA BFA
As a behind-the-scenes theatre artist, you know that there is more to compelling live entertainment than the performers themselves. Production work creates and adds vibrancy to the storytelling. It moves audiences. And it’s a critical part of great live theatre performance.
Whether your interest is scenery, properties, lighting, sound, stage management, arts leadership or another area of technical theatre production, you’ll gain comprehensive training, hands-on experiences and industry connections to take your expertise to the next level. Our technical theatre degree program allows for specialization, but it is flexible enough for cross-disciplinary studies tailored to your specific interests. Our students go on to work not only at major theaters, but in many related industries, including theme parks, event production, concerts, television, architectural installation, film, professional sports, cruise ships and museum exhibition design.
