Are you a high school student with a passion for theatre? Whether you’re a seasoned performer, a behind-the-scenes enthusiast, or simply someone who loves the art of theatre (like all of us here!), we have an exciting event just for you. It’s called “The Green Room and Beyond,” and it’s completely FREE.

At this event, you’ll have the chance to step into our world at UW-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts. No matter your level of experience, you’ll fit right in as you experience what it’s like to be a student here. We offer majors in theatre performance (musical theatre or acting), theatre production, theatre education, and theatre practices.

During “The Green Room and Beyond,” we invite you to join our classes across all areas of study. You can choose to focus on performance or production for the day or mix it up to explore different aspects of theatre. You’ll also have ample opportunities to chat with our faculty members and get to know our current students. If you have an audition piece or a portfolio you’d like feedback on, we’re here to provide you with multiple perspectives to help you grow.

In the evening, if you want the full theatrical experience, you’re welcome to stay for the opening night of “State Fair – The Concert Version” with a complimentary ticket. (You can also use that comp to see it a different day if you’d like.)

“The Green Room and Beyond” is a day filled with inspiration and immersion in the world of theatre, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
