Dear UWM Community,
As previously announced, Jonathan Hanes, Assistant Vice Provost and Institutional Research Director for the Office of Assessment & Institutional Research (OAIR) last day will be Friday, November 28th. I share my thanks and appreciation for Jonathan’s service to the university. I am pleased to announce that Elisabeth Koerner has agreed to serve as the interim institutional research director beginning Monday, December 1st.
Elisabeth is currently an Institutional Policy Analyst II and has served in OAIR since August of 2023. With over a decade of experience at a variety of institutions of higher education in the Milwaukee area, her primary areas of focus have included proactive student support, academic advising, and promoting equity in higher education. She earned her B.S. in Education and her M.S. in Administrative Leadership in Higher Education from UW-Milwaukee. During her time in OAIR, she has advanced major analytical projects supporting student success and institutional effectiveness, with an emphasis on delivering clear, accessible data to campus partners. As interim director, Elisabeth is dedicated to ensuring continuity and stability within OAIR, with a focus on sustaining our mission-critical work and supporting the campus through this period of change.
