Information for Former & Returning Students

Returning UW-Milwaukee students who enrolled through the Academic Opportunity Program (AOC) prior to Fall 2020 may be required to re-enroll through Pathway Advising.

If that applies to you, welcome back! The UWM campus is ever-changing and now — perhaps more than ever — is a great time to return. Re-admission information for returning students can be found here.

While the personalized support you received from your advisor when last you attended UWM through AOC is still here, AOC itself has merged into Pathway Advising.  Our Pathway approach offers expert guidance to students who are undecided about their college plans or majors, as well as students who are building their skills and stregthening their academic foundations as they work toward completing the requirements needed to advance to their chosen major.  See our About Us page for more information on the history of the program and our current mission/vision.

For returning students, our goal will be to work with you on individualized strategy to move you into one of UWM’s Schools and Colleges with an attainable plan for a degree as soon as possible. To make an appointment with our program’s Assistant Director, contact us through pathway-advising@uwm.edu or at 414-229-4696.
