April 8, 2023 – Project abstract submissions are due by 11:59 pm CST.

The UWM Partners for Health Research Symposium showcases graduate and undergraduate student work representing a range of programs across our health-focused colleges. This will be a great opportunity for students to disseminate their health-related work to peers, professors, and the wider Milwaukee community, often for the first time.

Presentations based on a wide range of research are welcome, including completed research projects, projects in progress or research proposals, literature reviews, capstone projects, and projects based on community partnership efforts. Submitted abstracts should be based on student-led, UWM faculty-sponsored research projects.

Students will submit a project abstract for review and will present a poster at the symposium. Students will also indicate whether they would like to be considered for a podium (oral) presentation at the symposium.

The Symposium will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., in the UWM Union Ballroom.  Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
