April 15: Deadline to Apply for UWM & MCW Cancer Center Undergraduate Research Program

The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Cancer Center and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM) have partnered to develop an undergraduate research program to train the next generation of high-performing, diverse cancer researchers. The next cohort will begin in Fall 2024. The application deadline is April 15.
The program will include:
-Research experiences throughout the year with funded part-time opportunities during semesters and full-time opportunities in summers
-Research proposal writing seminar course culminating in the submission of a proposal for the MCW Cancer Center and UWM Undergraduate Research Program Fellowship
-Opportunities to attend regional and national scientific conferences

-Participation in an annual UWM Undergraduate Research Symposium and a MCW Cancer Center sponsored Capstone SymposiumEligibility:
- Open to all UWM undergraduate students with at least one year left as an undergraduate and who are in good academic standing.
- Participants must participate in the proposal writing seminar course during the Fall 2024 semester which will meet Fridays at 2pm.
