The UWM TechStore will be closing on Sunday, June 30. Retail operations have stopped, and a retail location will no longer be in the UWM Student Union.
UWM’s TechStore staff and their IT colleagues across campus are working on transition plans for processes or essential services that the TechStore may have managed. We ask for your patience with this process and will communicate those changes as we progress through the transition. Departmental technology purchases will continue to be processed through IT Purchasing, as usual.
The UWM TechStore has provided over 15 years of service to the UWM community, and this difficult decision is part of budgetary changes. The closure is alongside recent changes to the UWM PantherShop and the new vendor, Follett Higher Education.
