UWM administrators note progress and urgent needs on building projects
Several important building projects at UWM are well underway and nearing completion, but several others are urgently needed, UWM officials told the UW System Board of Regents Capital Planning and Budget Committee on Thursday.
Ceremony honors 94 students who got a head start on college education
The seniors from 15 Milwaukee Public Schools completed up to 21 college credits during their final year of high school through the M-cubed College Connections program, a partnership among MPS, Milwaukee Area Technical College and UWM.

Three-quarters of the gift will be used to endow programs that enhance student success, such as emergency and retention grants, coaching, staffing and tools for advising. The remaining portion will provide support for scholarships.
