UWM supporters outdid themselves again to make the 2026 edition of 414 for UWM Giving Days an unprecedented success.

During an outpouring of Panther pride on April 13 and 14, 2,075 donors came together, raising $1,476,724 in support of UWM. Both totals represent record highs for 414 for UWM Giving Days, now in its sixth year.

“The generosity of the UWM community is a powerful reflection of its commitment to the university’s future,” said Amy Lensing Tate, assistant vice chancellor for engagement and executive director of the UWM Alumni Association. “Year after year, alumni, faculty and staff, students, parents and friends invest in the students and programs that make a UWM education so transformative.”

This year’s 414 for UWM Giving Days saw over 40 donor-sponsored challenges completed, which unlocked nearly $200,000 in additional funds. At the same time, over 95 advocates helped spread the word and drive participation throughout the two days.

On campus, the return of the Quiz Cab brought energy and excitement. The roving trivia game gave students and faculty free rides across campus while awarding additional funds for their favored UWM area.

Since its inception, 414 for UWM Giving Days has continued to build momentum as a key part of UWM’s annual fundraising efforts, increasing donor participation by 68% and dollars raised by 325% since 2021. Through the UWM Foundation, donors choose from more than 250 areas to direct their gifts, including scholarships, research, athletics, and academic and student success programs.

Every gift made during 414 for UWM Giving Days helps pave the path of possibilities for current and future UWM students while strengthening UWM’s mission.
