Colleen Galambos, a professor in the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare at UW-Milwaukee, has been appointed to an advisory committee for the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
Galambos’ work on the committee will be to plan two expert meetings on age-friendly hospitals and to examine the use of agentic artificial intelligence.
The National Academies are nonprofit, private institutions that provide expert, objective advice on prominent issues around the globe such as health and medicine, the environment, technology and education.
