Group information sessions are for students interested in L&S majors and are available before or after a campus tour. Please make sure the major you are interested in is within L&S as we cannot address other majors. At this session, we will review the L&S major(s) that you are interested in, providing information about its requirements, job outcomes, research and internship opportunities, and next steps towards enrolling in the program.
These appointments are NOT:
- for currently enrolled UWM students looking to change their major (Contact ls-advising@uwm.edu instead.)
- for students who have been recently admitted and have an assigned advisor (Use your PAWS account to complete your orientation and sign up to meet your academic advisor, or contact undergraduateadmissions@uwm.edu for assistance.)
- On Thursdays, campus tours are available at 11:00 am or 2:00 pm, and the Letters & Science info sessions are at 12:30 p.m., so you can attend either an info session after a morning tour or before an afternoon tour. - On Fridays, campus tours are available at 9:00 am or 1:00 pm, and the Letters & Science info sessions are at 11:30 am, so you can attend either an info session after a morning tour or before an afternoon tour. - Not interested in visiting campus in person at this time, or can’t make one of these times? Schedule a one-to-one appointment instead. Appointments are available in virtual or in-person formats at various times Monday through Friday.
- If you are a transfer student and would like to discuss your past credits, please schedule your appointment no sooner than seven business days from now so that we have time to review your information.

Campus tours are available Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well, but we do not have info sessions on those days for College of Letters & Science majors. Instead, schedule a one-to-one appointment.
You can request Spanish translation services for our in-person, virtual or phone admissions appointments. For the best experience, we recommend registering for your accommodation at least two (2) business days before your one-on-one meeting. To request this service, please check “Spanish” as the preferred language for your meeting when completing the registration form.
