In addition to providing information about the major you intend to declare (requirements, research opportunities, job outcomes, etc.), we can address your specific circumstances such as:

  • AP or IB credits
  • Placement testing or using standardized test scores for placement
  • Transfer credits, including any dual enrollment classes you may take while still in high school

If you are a prospective transfer student and want to discuss how your previous credits may apply to a UWM degree, please send a copy of your transcripts (unofficial is fine) from all colleges and universities attended at least one week prior to your appointment time.

Visit our real-time calendar to reserve your appointment time and upload your information (including any transcripts).

You can also request Spanish translation services for our in-person, virtual or phone admissions appointments when reserving your one-on-one appointment on our real-time calendar. For the best experience, we recommend registering for your accommodation at least two (2) business days before your one-on-one meeting. To request this service, please check “Spanish” as the preferred language for your meeting when completing the registration form. If you do not see a time that works for you on the calendar, please email let-sci@uwm.edu, and we’ll follow up to find an alternate time.
