Williams publishes The Cross of Christ in African American Christian Religious Experience

Congratulations to Demetrius K. Williams, Associate Professor of Comparative Literature and Religious Studies, whose book The Cross of Christ in African American Christian Religious Experience: Piety, Politics, and Protestwas published by Rowman & Littlefield in October 2023. In it, Williams examines and explores the ideational importance and rhetorical function of cross language and terminology in Black religious experience through an ideological lens.
