The Department of Global Studies launched in August 2022, when the Global Studies major merged with the Department of French, Italian, and Comparative Literature.

We are in the process of further integrating our internationally-focused courses and degree programs, building upon the strengths of each program’s curriculum, faculty, and staff in order to provide students with a larger and more unified academic course of study and community of peers in interdisciplinary language and global studies. We are excited about what the future holds. Come grow with us!
