Undergraduate fellowships for intermediate and advanced language study in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, or Russian

Are you an undergraduate at UWM studying Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, or Russian? The Center for International Education and the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies may have some wonderful opportunities for you!

UWM’s Center for International Education has Summer 2017 Intensive Language Fellowships ($7,500) and Academic Year 2017/18 FLAS Fellowships ($15,000) for the intermediate or advanced study of any of the languages listed above.

UWM’s Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies has Undergraduate Foreign Language and Area Studies FLAS Fellowships for Academic Year 2017-18 ($15,000) for the intermediate or advanced study of Portuguese.

Applications for all of these programs are due on February 15, 2017. This is a terrific opportunity to improve your fluency, expand your global understanding and cultural dexterity, and open up new opportunities for graduate school and employment following graduation!
