Pader Xiong

My name is Pader Xiong and I am a Junior at UW-Milwaukee majoring in Film. I am a first-generation Hmong American who enjoys dancing, spending time with family and friends, and learning other cultures and languages.

In high school I volunteered and studied abroad in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for a month. Just recently this summer I had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Rome, Italy. My favorite part of my study abroad in Rome was never being bored of my surroundings. Beyond the tourist sights, there was always something to see whether it was the architecture, people, or even the floors beneath my feet.

I am super excited to be a part of the Panther Planet Podcast team for this upcoming year. I am hoping to improve my production and management skills while also discussing and sharing local and global topics with my peers.
