Jenny Davis

Hi, I’m Jenny Davis. I am currently a second semester graduate student. I’m studying German to English Translation in the Translation and Interpreting Studies department.

Translation isn’t just about reading a text and spitting out a word-for-word equivalent. It’s also about connecting cultures to each other to produce a text that truly suits the readers’ needs. That’s why I’m excited to be a part of this podcast; it’s an exciting opportunity to learn and share about many different facets of culture around the world.

I am eager to be part of the Panther Planet team! I mostly help the hosts with the behind-the-scenes work like planning, editing, etc., but I’ll appear in at least one episode. It’s been a joy to work with our team and to learn about such interesting and varied topics; I hope you enjoy listening to the podcast as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.
