The French program is proud to have organized this event, along with the dedicated and professional staff at the American Geographical Society Library. The ceremony featured welcoming comments by Chancellor Mark Mone (who also presented the diploma), an eloquent introduction by Provost Johannes Britz, the hooding by Dean of the College of Letters and Science Rodney Swain, Music by the Chevalier de St. Georges, performed by Professor Bernard Zinck (Peck School of the Arts) and 3 outstanding students, and, finally, a moving oratory from Madame Taubira.
