Christine Wolf presents on Black Lives Matter Course and Companion Study Abroad Program

In October 2022, Christine Wolf, the Assistant Director of the Global Studies program, gave a presentation entitled “International Education: A Call to Action. Black Lives Matter: A Global Comparative Study & Companion Study Abroad” along with Yomarie Castellano, Study Abroad Program Manager at UWM’s Center for International Education, at the NAFSA: Association for International Educators Region V Conference in Milwaukee. They discussed the creation of GLOBAL 391, a class on the global Black Lives Matter movement and the companion study abroad course, which were developed at UWM through an IDEAS (Increase and Diversify Education Abroad for U.S. Students) grant.
