Want to learn more about storm spotting?
The Atmospheric Science program will host a National Weather Service storm spotter training for Milwaukee County Thursday, April 27, 2-4 p.m., at the Great Lakes Research Facility, 600 E. Greenfield Ave., Milwaukee,
Training sessions will be about 2 hours long. The first hour will cover safety aspects for spotters/general public while the second hour will cover the essentials of what you need to know to report severe weather to the National Weather Service. Each session will cover the same information, so you only need to attend one.
