Freshwater Sciences Open House at Harbor Fest

The School of Freshwater Sciences will host an open house during Harbor Fest. Tour the first floor and participate in activities with freshwater students and scientists.
Harbor Fest brings more than 4,000 people to Harbor Plaza and Greenfield Avenue for a free, family-friendly celebration of all things fish, water and boats! Free boat tours of the river and Lake Michigan, live music, great local food, and more! In partnership with other nonprofits there are also fun things happening – Riveredge Nature Center has a baby sturgeon release called Sturgeon Fest, Milwaukee Riverkeeper hosts the Milwaukee Boat Parade, which kicks off from in front of the plaza.
