Freshwater Colloquium: Sanda Ojiambo

Ms. Sanda Ojiambo, Assistant Secretary-General, United Nations Global Compact.

As the CEO and Executive Director of the United Nations Global Compact, Ms. Ojiambo leads the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, building the partnerships needed to drive impact and advocacy at local and global levels.

In her talk, Ms. Ojiambo will share her insights into advancing sustainability measures with corporate partners around the world. Please join us for this special seminar in our Freshwater Colloquium series, cohosted by the Geography Department at UWM.

This special colloquium will be held at UW-Milwaukee in Curtin Hall 175 at 5:00 – 6:30 pm. Registration is requested for this free event.

This presentation is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and the public.

The Colloquium series creates a platform where students, faculty, and scientists discuss emergent issues related to freshwater science research. Invited speakers present specific topics of their research, as well as policy, commercial, and industrial experiences.
