Chie Kakigi

Chie Kakigi is a Front Office Assistant Supervisor at the Center for International Education (CIE). Prior to joining CIE, she taught Japanese at UW-Oshkosh and Menasha High School for over 10 years. She is originally from Fukuoka, Japan. Chie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Japanese language and literature, with a minor in teaching Japanese as a foreign language from Chikushi Jogakuen University Japan in 1996. She then attended UW-Oshkosh, earning her Master of Science degree in Education with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction in 2001. In her free time, she enjoys traveling around the world and exploring Milwaukee’s diverse communities, restaurants and events.
