Nathaniel Stern is an interdisciplinary artist, engineer, and researcher whose work explores how humans co-evolve with technology - especially artificial intelligence. His recent work focuses on how art can support thinking, creating, and making meaning with and about AI. Stern is a Professor of Art & Design (Creative Technologies) at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (UWM), with a joint appointment in Mechanical Engineering. He is also Director of Academic Engagement and Creative Impact at UWM’s Lubar Entrepreneurship Center (LEC).
Brahms composed two sextets for strings in the 1860s. Though they were composed within five years of each other, in the same genre of string sextet, and both in major keys, they are remarkably different in character with the G major, Op. 36 having a very ethereal character, heralding the aura of resignation that haunted his more mature works while the Bb major, Op. 18 is genial, warm, rich, and bold.

Liya Du and Alex Witteman are interdisciplinary artists whose work examines the relationships between people, place, and the built environment. Du explores motherhood, domestic labor, and memory through painting, installation, and artist books, while Witteman uses photography, sculpture, and performance to investigate human interactions with natural ecosystems and resources.
