Join the UWM Symphony Orchestra for a vibrant and seasonally inspired program celebrating the spirit of December. The evening opens with the Baroque energy of J.S. Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 3, followed by Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Violins, featuring a group of outstanding young violinists from the UWM String Academy.
This exciting night of music will feature music from Guatemala and Trinidad and Tobago performed by UWM students and Milwaukee community members. The UWM Steel PANthers Steel Band and the Community World Music Ensemble will join forces on a program highlighting traditional and arranged music played on Guatemalan marimba doble and Trinidadian steel pans.
Join UWM's Concert Chorale, Bella Voce, Kameraden, Alta Voce, and Kameraden Plus choral ensembles for an evening of choral music featuring selections from a wide variety of styles and time periods.

Detroit-based ensemble Hub New Music has been called "a prime mover of piping hot 21st century repertoire" by The Washington Post. In its second performance at UWM, Hub shares commissioned works for its distinct ensemble of flute, clarinet, violin, and cello.
The UW-Milwaukee Voice Area and Opera Theatre is proud to present RENT by Jonathan Larson preceded by a special performance of scenes from La Bohème by Giacomo Puccini. Experience Larson's groundbreaking musical that reshaped the landscape of American music theater. Set in New York’s East Village during the 1990s arts and activist movement, RENT follows a community of young artists navigating love, loss, creativity, and the realities of illness and economic hardship. Its blend of rock, pop, and lyrical storytelling continues to connect deeply with audiences.
